Very many thanks for your letter of the 28th instant, reference:- Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/MJ. and for the information contained therein regarding the speed obtained by Mr Lappin with my car on Brooklands.

I am taking delivery of my car on Friday morning next, the 1st June.

After I have had a little experience of the car, I will write you again, and say how things are going.
