For the attention of Mr. E.S. Chapman.
Your letter ref. ESC/MH. {M. Huckerby}

Dear Sirs,

We note in your letter of the 29th ult. that you have completed the two special 6-HZD11-G batteries and that you are sending them to us fully charged. We are arranging for a test in the "cold chamber" to be carried out on Friday the 6th inst., when we shall be pleased to demonstrate their starting effort when cold. Will you please let me know what time to expect you.

We are also pleased to note that you are bringing along the high rate discharge curves, which you have been good enough to obtain for us. We regret that we have not yet had the opportunity to test out in the cold chamber the 6-XK15 type battery.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
