ENGINE

CRANKCASE AND BEARINGS LOP.EW.1113.

Complete to the above LOP incorporating the following modifications.

(a) To suit integral Cylinder block. LeC.5878
(b) Petrol Pump facing to be deleted.
(c) A.C.Bye Pass filter to E.C.D.44 and E.C.D.50.
(d) Modifications to E.C.D.24 and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C.D.35.
(e) Bore of tappet guides at an inclination of 0° 45' E.C.D.50 which deletes use of tappet bushes.
(f) Rear main bearing and cap to be grooved and drilled to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}458
(g) Felts to have internal dia. 2.500. and in W/M Bentley quality, otherwise as EE.3217.

EW.1396 Top Half Crankcase.
EW.1399 Lower Half Crankcase.

CRANKSHAFT LOP.EW.913.

Complete to the above LOP, already instructed to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}

EW.1370 Crankshaft ( V.O.H.) having 2-.125 dia holes in each crankpin, and 2 - .2187 dia holes in each journal.

Valve timing marking to read with .025 clearance, and not .030. Ignition setting mark to be 5° before T.D.C.

SPRING DRIVE LOP.EW.1423.

Complete to the above LOP, incorporating:-

EX.28290 Fan Pulley EW.1056 Starting Dog.
EW.1057 Cap Nut EW.1058 Lock Washer.
