Both Spurrier and Pilkington expect to come to Derby on Monday, Dec. 16th, when we expect to have sufficient drawing done to enable a decision to be made as to exactly what we want to go for. This decision can then be submitted to the Mechanisation Board for comment, if this is considered to be desirable.

For purposes of policy the Merlin tank unit will, in future, be referred to as the "Leyland Meteor" engine.
