W/LH.{Mr Haworth} To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1113 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}20/AP.2.12.36. Thanks for your note re "Specialloid" pistons. We did not use these because we say we think we make as good a split skirt piston as anyone. We think if you check up you will find they are no lighter than "Aerolite" and they certainly lose more power. Can you give any reason why they should be better than our own split skirt pistons.? Water Pump Glands - We are interested in these water pump gland packings. Can you let us havedrawing of the particular water pump gland to which they refer and also any detail drawings if available.?
