W/S. V4214 To CJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/T4.12.23. CJ7/E3/12/23. - RE HISPANO. ------------------------- On the recent run to W. W. we took the Hispano and a standard new 40/50 chassis, - both had all-weather bodies fitted. They maintained the same average speed under identical conditions. The consumption of the Hispano was 15.5; R.R. 12.5. m.p.g. We do not consider the R.R. is a fair average; usually on the same trip we average 14 to 15 m.p.g. This car is being used continuously for brake experiments, at At the first opportunity we shall check the consumption and see if we can improve it. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
