Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham.

Dear Sirs:

We thank you for your letter of the 16th inst. on the subject of Silent tread tyres - 6.00 section, suitable for the 20 HP. car.

These tyres are now available for 20" rims (tyre size 32 x 6.00).

If you care to place an order for your requirements in these, there will be little difficulty in providing the tyres immediately.

With regard to 6.00 tyres for 19" rim (tyre size 31 x 6.00). We are sorry that we are unable at present to give any definite indication as to when the first tyres are likely to be available. We shall, therefore, have to ask you to leave the matter for a few days and we will write you again.

We would mention that all our mould making Departments are dealing with a very large programme and working under very great pressure. You will in these circumstances appreciate that matters of priority have to be very carefully considered, although it is quite understood that your requirements have to take a very high place.

Yours faithfully,

For THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.

W. Bond.

Technical Director's Office.
