Dear Sirs,

Re : Issuing of Triptyque or International Travelling Pass.

In connection with the taking of cars over to France, we understand that you have a scheme for the purpose of Touring, similar to the arrangements made by the R.A.C. Would you kindly send us particulars of this, advising us what formalities are necessary on this side before departure of the car, and what arrangements are made under this scheme on arrival of the car in France. Please be good enough to send us full particulars describing in detail the requirements in connection with the International Driving Pass (if this is required, also in connection with the other requirements of the French Customs.

In the event of sending a car by other means than under Triptyque, we presume we should be called upon to pay duty to the French Customs on arrival in that country, according to the value of the car. Will you please confirm if this is so, what the duty would be, and the basis on which it would be assessed.

Thanking you for your early reply.

We are,

Yours faithfully.
