Oy1-E-10725 -4- October 7, 1925. If you would send us a sketch of an available spindle end however I will get them to submit a pump. They admit that the thing which holds back the device from general adoption is the difficulty of getting "close" enough to the manufacturer to work out a joint design of oil pump drive etc. which is satisfactory to both. It is standard on Chrysler 4 and Maxwell and is used by a number of the larger marine engines, where the ordinary vacuum feed would be useless and the pressure feed has danger of leakage and explosion. Am having them send you a tank only at first so that you can perhaps use it on a Silver Ghost, using the air pump with connections reversed, for the vacuum. Yours very truly, Maurice Olley MO/E | ||
