Dear Sirs:

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your favour of the 8th inst. (ref.Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/AD.) regarding the Silent type tyres and are much obliged for the information it contains.

As we are glad to see that Mr. Robotham proposes to pay us a visit, perhaps you will allow us to leave these matters until we are able to discuss them.

As far as we know at present, either Wednesday or Thursday this week would be suitable, and we would be glad if you would kindly give us a 'phone message stating when Mr. Robotham may be expected.
