is fitted to this frame compared with when it is fixed solid to the chassis frame.
We are always in endless trouble on the 40/50 HP. with body noises, booms and vibrations. We recommend that the proposed covered body for EAC.11. should have a sub-frame mounting.
We also recommend that we should experiment on the EAC.11. with a means of ensuring the Camshaft turning evenly. On this engine, similar to 20 HP. and 40/50 HP., we get irritating noises and rattles unless the engine gears are kept tight in gear and all clearances reduced to a minimum.
