x561 W/N - Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}3/KW.14.10.36. GYH-45. The above chassis belongs to a friend of mine. He is sending it down to the Coachbuilders, E.C. Bertelli, of Feltham, on Thursday of this week for a few repairs, and then would like you to have a go at curing servo troubles. He is writing officially to the Company to arrange who shall do the delivering, collecting, etc. The chief trouble on this car is servo judders. The Repair Dept. here have had no less than four shots at curing it but have never succeeded for more than about a week. I do not think we have any more helpful suggestion than to fit a new servo, but probably you know of some cure that will work. I hope you can do something for him as we are tired of being rung up here to say that the car is again giving trouble. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
