contd :- -2- The records of failures from corrosion are not sufficient to warrant a change in material. Springfield are always more or less in trouble with radiator tubes corroding owing to the difference in the water in various parts of the U.S. They have tried various materials but they have not been able to find one which will cover the whole range of conditions.
