The White Starter. Motor 11.11.13 The White electric starting outfit is a single-unit device, supplying current to an 18-cell battery for both lighting and starting. Its special feature consists in a special winding of the armature, which prevents the battery being overcharged. It is worked off the magneto shaft by chain gearing and, when the current is reversed, actuates the engine through the same means, being thus geared down to the engine shaft.
