BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to RI. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M25.11.27 X7000 X7310 X7300 EAC. 10. GEARBOX. We send herewith the following N. schemes shew-ing the above gearbox and clutch casing - N. scheme 2448. " 2450. " 2451. " 2452. " 2514. These drawings are we think self explanatory. The bolting at the bottom of the clutch casing will be slightly modified as compared with what we have previously sent, and will require modification to the crankcase. It will be noticed that the position of the servo is different from that on the general arrangement of the car. The speedometer is for the new larger square which we are counting on being able to get. We shall be sending you a further drawing shewing additional sections through the clutch casing in the course of a day or two. This will also include the position of the front brake equaliser shaft.
