We have received the 2 coil units but we note that there are no terminals or fittings for securing the H.T cables. Will you please supply these items on loan. We should also be glad if you could let us have a pair of skew gears for driving the units on the test rig which we shall have to make. This would save us considerable time as our shops are very pressed with work. Will you please state direction of rotation of both units, gear ratio between engine and ignition generator and details of pitch centre distance, position and angle of inclination of skew gears relative to the flange mounting. As regards the proposed flight tests to be made on the aircraft which you now have at Hucknall, if Air Ministry agree to this proposal, would you please note that to make the tests on screening, a suitable screen will be required on the distributor, the one you have sent to us for laboratory tests is unscreened.
