I had a case the other day of failure of a lighting system, which was found due to the faulty fixing of the fuse in the Lucas switchbox. I find that fine copper wire fuses are used for this job, and it is possible for this wire to be fixed in position without making proper contact. It is also a very difficult matter to fix these fine wire fuses in position. I would suggest that these copper wire fuses should be replace with tin lead type, which are much more hulky, and cannot very well be fixed in position without making proper contact. I should be glad to have your comments on this matter, and should be pleased to make demonstrations to you of the above faults if you consider it necessary. EP.{G.
