Handwritten: 45/33 Copy to Mr. [Redacted] Ra.[Redacted] EH.2./14.8.33. OPEN BENTLEY CAR. Referring to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}15/11.7.33. I was able to give a run in this experimental car only between London and Newhaven before leaving on my holidays. I entirely concur with all that Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} has reported in respect of his run in the car. I would like to point out, however, that I do not agree with his suggestion for bucket seats to be fitted at the rear of the car, because, although this would undoubtedly assist passengers when cornering, one has to remember that very frequently a car of this nature may carry two passengers only and the back of the car filled with luggage; nothing is more irritating than finding the bucket seat or fixed arm on the rear seat when you want to pile luggage on it.
