Dear Sirs,
We require urgently a number of half gallon cans, to contain say compressor oil, the stopper to be a good job and allowing no leak.
These are for use in tool boxes for the purpose of carrying spare oil, in connection with a 1.A. Priority job for the Admiralty.
We have been recommended to you by Messrs. Dalton of Belper for prompt delivery and would be glad to hear from you by return. At the same time will you please dispatch three cans as samples, marked for the attention of the undersigned, and/or immediate use. A covering order will be sent upon receipt.
We understand that the standard dimensions are approximately 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 3 1/4.
Yours faithfully,
