By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. V6118 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA.13.1.36. CONTACT BREAKER LEVER WITH TUNGSTON POINT WELDED BY NEW PROCESS. Some time ago you handed to us for test per By/RD. two of the above type contact breaker levers which we immediately put on test running in conjunction with a standard distributor. The test was run under 12 hr. non-stop runs for three consecutive periods at low speeds followed by two periods at high speeds making a total period of 300 hrs. running. In each case the wear on the contact point was quite normal and satisfactory. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
