c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 804 CONFIDENTIAL. 25th.November 1938. BY.11/N. Messrs. Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: Styling of B.50. We confirm that during our last visit, it was agreed that the headroom in the above car could be 49 1/4" without a sunshine roof, and that the mock-up should have no such fitting. We appreciate your suggestions for speeding up the mock-up and reducing its cost, and agree that you go ahead on those lines. We want to put down at least three more B.50 cars, and do not want to do so prior to finalising the design of the body by means of the model. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
