Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}9/JH. 6th October, 1936. Messrs. Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473 High Road, Willesden, LONDON.N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Thompson. Dear Sirs, We are despatching per passenger train today, under separate cover, the bonnet angle rests for fitting on the wide dashboard. These were left off in case there was any difference between the scuttle and bonnet. As you will see we could not fit the bonnet because of this, and the bonnet catches, will have to be fitted later. We are hoping to have the side wheel carrier parts ready on Wednesday and will arrange for a man to fit these parts at your Works. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
