Work to be carried out.

It is proposed to carry out the following tests in the future, on the completion of which a detailed report will be issued.

(1) Temperature measurements on cylinder and head, air cooled.
(2) Detonation curves on various fuels at 4000 r.p.m.
(3) Fit water jacket to engine and repeat (1) & (2).
(4) Fit water cooled unit supplied by Makers, and repeat (1) & (2).
(5) Air consumptions and detonation on semi-hemispherical head, with C.R. = 7.3.
(6) Tests to show the effect of reduced exhaust valve area.
(7) Motoring tests.
