-2- It may be a form of preignition, or slow burning gasses that fires when the inlet valves are opened. There are six cases which are giving identical results. The majority are not giving us this trouble which makes one come to the conclusion that the medium running with no high speed to burn off any deposits is the real trouble. Is it possible to use a hotter plug for the 30 H.P.? To try and get more evidence I asked the driver of the above car to not use Ethyl, but try a benzoline mixture. He promised to do so and let us have the result. If the latter and the K.L.G. plugs fail the Owner is going to send the car to Derby as he thinks Cricklewood do not know their job. C.W.Hancock. | ||
