With reference to your note ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/GEA5/EB.22.6.31, will you kindly note that we have not given Messrs. Duckham any authority to state that their oils are approved by us.

It should be made clear however that the H.B.B. grease supplied by this firm is approved by us and appears in our Instruction Book and therefore they would be quite in order in stating that this grease is approved, but so far as lubricating oils are concerned no authority has been given so far as we are aware for the statement they have apparently made.
