Dear Ward,

re: LORRY.

The lorry has arrived in Derby. We find that you have made the member of the Warren Truss in wood. This, of course, will not be adequate for carrying Merlin engines, which weigh 1,600 pounds.

In Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s letter of the 3rd. May and the 28th. March, angle iron was specified for this job. We shall therefore have to rectify the point here.
