Sidgreaves - MD} To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Trend of Design. I am sending you under separate cover (in case you have not already seen it) a copy of the Saturday Evening Post, dated 13 January 1934, which is very interesting because it illustrates so many of the new type American cars exhibited at the recent Show. The trend of design is clearly indicated. It rather looks as if the American manufacturers intended to educate the people up to rear-engined cars by first of all altering the appearance of front-engined cars. Sg.{Arthur F.
