SEQUENCE STARTER MOTOR 2B SCHEME.

A preliminary brake test of this motor, coupled with the fact that the cross sectional area of the field winding conductors which we have been able to get on is so much greater than anticipated, indicates that we shall have a considerably better job if we alter the main field winding to 6 1/2 turns per coil in place of 3 1/2, as at present.

We should be pleased if you would issue the necessary instructions for this to be done at the earliest possible moment as it may shortly become convenient to fit this 2B scheme to experimental chassis 9-EX.

This same modification should also be instructed after confirmation, for the EAC.10 starter motor.
