To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}3/KT:18.9.33. SERVO OPERATED CLUTCH 20/25. C. has asked us to demonstrate to Sales a 20/25 car with a servo assisted clutch operation so as to decrease the pedal pressure. We send you herewith a scheme on the lines of the Bendix outfit we tried on 25-EX. We hope, by using the valve Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1133 to overcome the various defects of the system as fitted to 25-EX. Flexible connections are required from the valve to the induction pipe and the suction cylinder. A new longer clutch trunnion shaft is required for the lever operated by this vacuum cylinder. Will you please prepare the necessary parts which shall be fitted to 19.G.IV. as soon as they are ready. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
