With reference to the enquiry as to which is the most desirable kind of electric Head Lamp, I think the special type of lantern, a sample of which was recently supplied to us by the C.A.V. people, to possess more virtues than any other lantern I have tried. This type of Head Lamp has the large F type reflector fitted into a body which is only slightly larger than the small F.{Mr Friese} type lantern. We have not run the lamps about on the road but are just fitting a pair to an experimental car. When fitted with No.13 spiral filament C.A.V. Ediswan bulbs the light is excellent for driving, and when fitted with half watt 4 amp.bulbs the light is exceedingly powerful and makes fast night driving safe and easy.
