Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},

I had quite a good day on the Bentley yesterday.

I left the Works at 9.45 a.m. and reached home at 9.45 p.m. In the interval 407 miles were covered, stops for lunch, tea and dinner, etc. and visits paid to Blackburn Aircraft Company, Brough, Dishforth Aerodrome, Finningley Aerodrome and Wittering Aerodrome, concluding with Grantham to London, lll miles in two hours.

I did not reach maximum revs. once, in fact I did not exceed 4350.

Lp.{Mr Lappin}
