BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X7800 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M8.1.31. Copy to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} P. 2. UNIVERSAL DASHBOARD. We send herewith N. scheme 3193. shewing a universal dashboard for all angles of steering. For the following reasons we prefer this scheme to Scheme 1413: (1) The faces on the dash which are machined are normal. (2) The castings may be machine moulded. ((3) The column supporting casting on the dash can be removed without disturbing the wiring. (4) We think that the more normal appearance of N. scheme 3193. is more like-ly to make it acceptable to R.{Sir Henry Royce} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
