-2- manufacture. It is assumed that the present large bore engine will be giving a maximum power of 53 BHP. with silencer fitted instead of the 45 BHP. of the small bore engine, and that the improvements suggested above, together with the somewhat freer exhaust will permit of higher maximum revs., and the increase HP. up to 75 BHP with silencer, or 80 with cutout. Also it is assumed that the 20 HP. shall at once be fitted with a cutout with the hope that the small extra power this allows, and the feeling of power, will give the driver an impression of greater power until we can give the definite increase indicated above, and that a cutout will be a standard fitting for all present and future 'twenties'.
