X.2894. BATTERY IGNITION CONTACT BREAKER
TUNGSTEN POINTS.

As an experiment on the maintenance of correct bedding of these points over a long period, we wish to have fitted to the contact breakers on chassis 12-GIV, 19-EX and 20-EX a contact screw with domed surface.

We hand you three of these screws, which you have recently had ground, for this purpose. Will you please ensure that the contacts on the contact levers of the respective distributors are ground flat when these screws are fitted.
