To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x7520. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KT.23.3.31. IMPROVED SHOCK ABSORBERS. X.235. X.7520. We now have details issued from the D.O. of parts designed by W.W. to reproduce the Delco split piston etc. We also have the connecting link designed for the P.II shock absorbers to enable us to eliminate the bijur connection from the damper case. We are most anxious to get these parts made and tested out with a view to getting them on production, and we have stopped Works ordering any more material. We suggest that you make at least 1/2 doz. sets of these parts as we can see no reason why we should run into trouble, and we want to get them running on as many cars as possible.
