Referring to the above and his car which you looked over for him prior to the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb, I enclose copy of letter written to him to-day which is self-explanatory.

The question of your doing this was discussed by me with Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} the other day.

It was also agreed that we should fit a new cylinder head which Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} says is available and tested.

It was agreed that no charge should be made to Mr.Hall for the work done but I should like a note sent to me of the total expense incurred.
