16th. April, 1940.

Messrs. Delco Remy & Hyatt Ltd.,
111, Grosvenor Road,
LONDON.S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr.E.Rushton.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letters of the 11th. April also for the four B.80 type distributors which are now to hand. We will bear in mind your remarks concerning the slightly damaged shaft, and will rectify any slight fault if necessary.

We would like to examine one of the SM.1009 type four cylinder distributors. Would you be kind enough to loan us one for a short time?

If possible we would like it to include the vacuumatic control. The Lucas people supply a vernier screw for slightly advancing or retarding according to the quality of petrol used. Do you provide such a gadget? If you make one we would like it included on the next unit.

We are sending under separate cover, an order for some distributor condensers and contact levers. These are to be spares for the six cylinder units.

We also wish to obtain some radio suppressors and condensers. We would be grateful if you would put me in touch with your radio expert.

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
