| 261 BENTLEY C. G.H: 649. 1. Brakes, fading, squeaking, etc. 2. Considerable roughness and vibration at high r.p.m. 3. Several attempts have been made to stop the weights rattling in the bumper bar. 4. Horn-button rattles on top of steering column. 5. A pronounced "click" can be produced by jerking the steering wheel slightly, either when the car is in motion or standing still. This comes from the steering box and only happens when it requires filling with oil. 6. Numerous body rattles and squeaks, which are much worse in dry weather. Messrs. Park Wards have only succeeded in curing these temporarily. They always reappear. 7. Near side head lamp shorting, bulb broken and removed when recent brake trouble was experienced. 8. Back window blind cords broken. 9. Driver's seat not comfortable. This is going to be attended to next time the car goes back to Messrs. Park Ward. 10. When the car is well warmed up, after fairly hard driving for 50 miles or so, there is a rough period round 2600 r.p.m. in all speeds. This only appears on long journeys, as stated above, when the car is well warmed up. 11. Since the incident occured with the front brakes, both front doors, especially the driver's one, have been hard to shut. 12. There has always been a very bad draught just by the driver's right leg, through the lower part of the driver's door. | ||
