STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Description of Parts. DERMATINE WATER PIPE WASHERS. Origin: To obtain some material for the washers which would allow them to be used several times over during dismantling of the engine. Experimental Test Report. These washers are quite successful. Mr. Platford also made a test saying, - " A set of these washers was handed to us by the Exp. Dept. on the 29th of December and we have run these on an engine, such that we are able to dismantle same three times over and yet use the washer effectively." Signature of Exp.
