| To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} +300 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.1/KW.14.10.35. 12 Production Chassis - Phantom III. Further to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.2/KW.8.10.35, it has now been agreed with Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} for the front suspension buffers to be attached to the triangular levers, as shown on G.83356. The forging which carries the bottom buffer will need the lip so that a Dunlop Jack can be used to raise the wheels. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} will supply the necessary scheme. It will also be unnecessary for the front anti-roll rod or the rear chassis cross bracing, N.Sch.4627, to be fitted to these chassis. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
