M993 to the cylinder end & C1802 is too severe in tightening up. and distorts the bearing portion. April 4/13 (Y.433) Re Mfr Playfords, complaint of the boss not being true. This is due to the core and machining. I think this could be avoided by the underneath method and would also do away with the extra side drain plug, and clear the chamber properly of all sediment. and not leave the bulk of the sediment below the drain level.
