Rolls-Royce Ltd., Experimental Department, DERBY. For the attention of Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Child. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of 9th February concerning the temporary failure of the WT.13 horns on your Experimental Bentley No. 7.B.V. From the information that you give us in the letter it appears probable, as you suggest, that the one horn is out of adjustment and that the contacts are very nearly permanently open circuited. It is difficult for us to say why it should have gone out of adjustment, but we shall be glad if you will send in the horns, which we will examine carefully and report on. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} A.{Mr Adams} Harris Eng. & Designs Dept. | ||
