The Managing Director,
Messrs. Park Ward & Co. Ltd.,

Willesden, N.W.10.

Dear Sir,

In the course of a telephone conversation with Mr. Robotham of Rolls Royce he mentioned that you were very anxious to know whether there was any way in which you could help with the manufacture of truck bodies.

Just at the present moment I am afraid there is no way in which you could help, but as the requirements of the Government become a little clearer we would be glad to remember your facilities and get in contact with you if there should be an opportunity of using them.

I am afraid, however, that so far as we are concerned, our own standard lorry production will not be the holding point, and that, provided it is kept to standard jobs, we shall be able to find bodies for all the chasses we can manufacture. We will, however, remember your kind offer.

Yours faithfully,

C.J. BARTLETT,
Managing Director.
