Dear Sirs,

With reference to your Order No.5955, we have much pleasure in informing you that we have today despatched to you, under separate cover, one petrol indicator for 14 3/4 gallon tank - to prints F.50498 and F.50427.

As we have no method here of determining the calibration for this gauge, we have fitted same with a blank paper dial, and we shall be pleased if you will kindly fit this gauge to one of your tanks, and mark the calibrations on the paper dial. If you will then return the gauge to us, we will have the proper dial made.

We may mention that this calibration will also refer to the six gauges which we have to convert for you from 12 gallon to 14 3/4 gallon. We may mention, by the way, that these 6 gauges for conversion have not yet reached us.

Yours faithfully,
SIMMS MOTOR UNITS (1920) LTD.
