X7720 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG28.2.28. 12-EX - CONTINENTAL PHANTOM. X8900C We anticipate this car will be ready to leave for France in about 10 days time. It is fitted with the following new parts :- (1) Central oiling scheme. (2) Stiffer crankshaft with 4" webs, standard rods. (3) Modified slipper wheel. (4) Modified oiling, doing away with grooves in bearings. (5) Pistons with standard rings. (6) Turbulent head, 4.25 compression ratio. (7) Lightened flywheel and serrated universal joint. (8) Narrower radiator. (9) Narrower hubs and wheels. (10) Side by side rear brakes. (11) Steering with .900 lead. (12) Rear wheel carrier and luggage grid. (13) Modified petrol tank. (14) Battery in frame. (15) Cast dash. (16) Rubber mounted engine feet.
