4676 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 7/KW. 25.7.34. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls, Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. The renewal of your Insurance Policy arrived to-day. We have told them that you will be away for about 3 weeks and in the meantime send the papers on to you herewith. We have your note re 21-G-IV. We were most interested in Hancock's report that altering the slipper wheel lag cured his period at 3750 r.p.m. on Bentley. If this is so it means that the clutch on 4-B-IV is cleared of any unpleasant features, and we shall be at least free to have increased lining area. We have had a run on Hall's car, its acceleration is really astoundingly good, Ticknall Hill with the 105 m.p.h. rear axle, starting at 10 m.p.h., in 47 1/2 seconds, this with a restricted exhaust system.
