To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}:1/KT. 28.8.33. 20/25 CLUTCH SLIP. You will remember suggesting that in order to ensure the correct pitchline slack in the serrations of the clutch pressure plate, a complete circular gauge should be used. It is thought that testing each tooth separately is inadequate. Will you send us a drawing of a suitable gauge so that one can be made for the Repair Dept. and N. We do not need one ourselves as all our clutches have the new parallel splines. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
