CHAIN DRIVE FROM REAR END OF CAMSHAFT TO KELLOG AIR PUMP OR REVOLUTION COUNTER
X749

[Handwritten Section]
Mr. Royce

Please receive herewith the following blue prints:-
EX1 Proposed scheme for driving revolution counter
EX2 Proposed scheme of driving Kellog Air Pump by means of a roller chain from rear end of camshaft.
The same rear camshaft drive is to serve for the revolution counter as proposed.
Print EX2 is from a pencil drawing & I am afraid not so clear as EX.1. I will immediately have it traced however for the purpose of securing a better print if it be desired.
The air pump has been placed in what seems to be the only possible position i.e. just to the rear of the crankcase foot. Would you kindly criticise these schemes as it is proposed to adapt the pump & counter to one or two of our cars to customer's orders.
