a spare wheel is assumed to have its weight distributed 65% front and 33% rear.

On the 20 HP. however, its weight is assumed to be 100% on the front when carried on the step.

ABROAD.

The 40/50 HP. front springs are strengthened above standard for Spain and Australia - the 20 HP. left unaltered because 20 HP. has 25% stiffer springs, 40/50 HP. only 20% for these countries.

SPARE WHEEL WEIGHTS.

40/50 - Actual spare wheel weight ---- 86 lbs.
Allowance for spare wheel ---- 75 lbs.

20 HP. - Actual spare wheel weight ---- 69 lbs.
Allowance if carried on rear ---- 100 lbs.
Allowance if carried on step ---- 70 lbs.
