Mr. Lambourn reported to me the substance of your conversation, and I am in agreement with the action proposed. We are at once altering one of our moulds so as to connect the outer edges of the outer studs, and this will enable us to supply any number of tyres you may want in the next few days. If your report is satisfactory, we shall be quite willing to adopt the new tyre as standard. I note your instructions regarding the four further sets of tyres for English and Continental tests; these will be dealt with immediately.
